When tires or plastics are processed with the ATS the liquid component is a dark coloured light diesel, equivalent to a #2 Home Heating Oil.

This product can be blended as-is with regular diesel, or it can be used without further refinement in diesel engines that do not specify otherwise. It is suitable, without additional processing, for diesel generators and off-road machinery.

The Green Diesel has a higher value than that of the bio-oil derived from biomass feedstock.
